The Australian Tertiary Education Commission (ATEC) has commenced the 2027 mission based compacts process.
The Australian Tertiary Education Commission (ATEC) is working with higher education providers to set up their mission based compacts for 2027.
Eligible higher education providers recently submitted their draft 2027 compacts. ATEC is now considering these draft compacts ahead of negotiations between ATEC’s Commissioners and each provider later this year.
Earlier in the year, ATEC hosted a webinar to support providers drafting their 2027 compacts. ATEC also shared information on domestic student allocations for 2027, which is subject to the passage of the Universities Accord (Opening the Doors of Opportunity) Bill 2026.
